Lakers are 0-2, They're Lotto Bound!

For the second straight season the reloaded Lakers are 0-2. Unlike last year haters around are already inking them for the lottery, that's hilarious.  The Lakers have lost both games by a combined 18 points, it's not like they're getting blown out. The biggest problems have been turnovers, currently 39 for two games, damn!, that's an average or right below 20.  Due to the turnover the opposing team has shot in 47% and 50%, that's not gonna get it done. Game 1 also had 19 missed free throws, that could have changed the game in the winding minutes had they hit at leat 60% of the freebies. The Lake Show it's currently shooting 50% and outrebounding and out assisting teams, they're moving the ball around and active, they're not doing it consistently. At times they have looked pretty smooth, but much too often, not comfortable when pressure comes. The last game also had Nash exit with an injury not the sight us fans want to see, especially when they were playing pretty well. The Rose Garden has always been tough for Lakers, even in ther championship years, and back then the Blazer used to pummel the Lakers at the Garden, no so this time, but it's a bigger deal now even though they're still unproven, the hate for this team is unbelievable. Blazers did what a smart team should do versus a team playing on their second night and getting high in age, and that's run at every chance. And even then, the Lakers still made a run and were withing striking distance in the fourth. I don't expect Lakers to win at the Rose Garden, when they do it's awesome, and considering the loss, it was a much better effort from the team and I really liked what I saw from Dwight.

Player of the Game: Nicolas Batum was outstanding tallying 26 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals, he just seemed to always hit a shot at the right time.

X-Factor: Great debut for rookie Damian Lillard who showed great poise versus the big bad Lakers finished with 23 points and 11 dimes, nice pick so far the Rip City.

Should Have Been Benched: Even though Jamison contiunes to struggle bench favorite Jordan Hill had a very disspointing games loggin no points but 2 turnovers and 3 fouls, he only played 8 minutes.

Laker Hater: Sasha Pavlovic only scored 7 points, he logged in that many points or higher a total of 4 times all last season.

Overtime: Kobe Bryant next steal will tie the Hall of Famer Magic Johnson for top in franchise. Also last game's x-factor, Eddy Curry logged in 8 minutes and 2 points vs Utah, he finished with 17 minutes 7 points and 4 rebounds, not spectacular, but enough to do damage vs. Lakers, it's also just been known that he is likely to be waived to make room for former Laker Troy Murphy.

Up Next; Battle L.A. Lob City come to town, er. I mean the visitor's room for the battle for L.A. Supremacy, the Lake Show might be without Steve Nash, you that Odom and Barnes are gonna go for a big game, one of the leagues deepest team comes in against a still unproven bench, this could get ugly if Lakers can't control the tempo. Keep Clip town from playing playground basketball, and they'll pull it out, The Lakers can't really go 0-3 can they? Hey at least they got Detroit on Sunday
